We will be discussing how Beecause We Care aims to promote the preservation of bees, reforestation, & economic development of small farmers within the valley of Santa Teresa La Convencion, Peru! These awesome women are trying to unify small organic farmers, connecting them with fair markets to provide long-term prosperity, utilizing the environment they live in to create awareness for organic, sustainable farming.

 

We will also be discussing their vision in being able to help create a sustainable living for the coffee farmers in the area by creating a market for their specialty coffee. By creating more income, the farmers can develop their farms into self-sustaining parcels of land, which will in turn provide them with a nutritious diet, educational opportunities for their children, while at the same time protecting the environment.
